Not sure he is the right fit for Everton. He'll score goals wherever he goes he has one of the best left foots around but the defensive side to his game is pretty much non existant. With Baines being an attacking fullback you will be very exposed down the left
Fabio Borini’s proposed £12m move from Liverpool to Everton remained in the balance on Monday night as the Italian forward played hard to get.
While reports that Borini has rejected the transfer out of hand are wide of the mark, Everton clearly have some persuading to do if they are to sell the idea of a long-term move to Goodison to a player who enjoyed a successful loan stint at the Stadium of Light and Champion's League experience at Anfield.

Podolski didn't have a great record pre-Arsenal. He flopped badly at Bayern.
Pretty good international in his day

Could have some legs, because at no point was 'striker' used to describe him
I would be very impressed if Martinez manages to sign Podolski tbh - meanwhile Liverpool are looking for the next free transfer from the championship Heskey?
I would let out a bit of wee if Everton signed Borini.
Podolski should do good at Everton. A club where they'll play to his advantages

I think he is going to Galatasaray. Rumours are that a fee has been agreed, admittedly a very low one (less than £2M).

They are looking at a former Barca player at the moment......but not sure if Gudjohnsen would agree a move
I can see Heskey and Balotelli being a potent strike force
Dunno how you lot will take his wages, we're paying him a ridiculous amount
Unless it's a loan?
German isn't he. They like beer and Everton have loads of bitters.
He's here all day (unfortunately) Ladies and Gentleman good old throbbing...........

Robbing. Have to give you that one
Any player of that quality would be welcome at Everton though, our squad needs more first teamers if we are to compete for a cup and not get dragged down like the season just gone
