Ghost n Goblins, Wonderboy, Shinobi and Super Sprint with the 3 steering wheels were the best arcade games
On commodore 64 the Dizzy Games (the egg ones) were decent, I remember saving up all year and buying the Hollywood Pack http://farm7.staticflickr.com/6062/6067340394_1b4b1d3580_z.jpg classic
metal gear solid. bloody brilliant game at the time. i was addicted to it. the storyline had me hooked.

Sensi broke my computer but it was a good thing! My parents decided to buy me a commadore CDTV (yes you will need to Google it) it was a CD based computer/console hybrid. It could also play disk games and my fav was sensi, however it was strange as the game would sometimes go black and white...it was later found out that the OS used 400kb from the the system and sensi needed the full megabyte! In the end got myself an a600, and a hoover for my mum!

I played all of these, know the programmers of 3 of them but my all time faves were Super Sprint (Atari ST) & Mario Kart (SNES) for the drunken multi player nights.
