I can understand him wanting to stay at Welter as it's the division to be in but he isn't going to achieve much there
Who's there for him at Junior Welter
Danny Garcia is moving up so Broner could fight either Matthysse or Peterson

He needs some wins and a belt.
He can continue at Welter and can still get some big fights, but the aura he has coming through the weights has been destroyed.
A move back down to regain some confidence is needed. Broner needs to feel physically stronger than his opponents, not overpowered. Bigger stronger men, can get inside quickly because of his wide flat footed stance. Lighter fighters won't be able to dominate him physically.
He may choose to stay up for the money, but given his age and the strength of the division , I feel this would be a mistake. Mayweather, Paquiao,, Brook, Thurman and Khan would destroy him. Bradley would probably beat him Maidana & Porter have convincingly beat him.

He should definitely humble himself as he has been humbled in the eye of the public anyway
Move down a weight and win a world title or 2
Get his stock back up and then maybe he can get a big fight at welter again
He doesn't belong at 147, certainly not at the moment anyway. That might be where all the big fights are and all the prestige, but the truth of the matter is that Porter dominated him and Broner feared that the size advantage would tell which meant he froze like a rabbit caught in headlights and tried to hold, run and spoil whenever Porter tried to engage. 140 is where it's at for Broner.

Yeah I thought that too actually. Initially I thought it was the way he was slouched in the chair that made him appear that way, but having looked again it did seem as though he'd been to dinner with Hatton once or twice in the last few weeks
Yet again I get my big fight prediction right
I knew the overrated and overhyped Broner had little chance against Porter.

You just know he hit it or tried it on, caants got a wife at home too
Superb
on a sidenote, did you see Ward v SMith last night mate? Ward was like a sharpshooter against Smith. Hitting him at will every few seconds. Granted Smith isnt on his level though. Still impressed though.
Mr C I haven't watched the Ward fight yet but will do when I get a moment. Good to see him back.
Hopefully we'll eventually get to see this Ward v GGG fight materialise at some point. Now that's a fight I want to see

Nah Kenny is a classy guy, Broner got all personal with him and showed him no respect, he shouldn't expect a handshake after behaving like such a mongrel.
Treat people the way you wanna be treated.
