Looking at how well he held his own along side £220m worth of squad additions he should not have a problem at teams that splash the cash on winners
Maybe he will flourish at a club who have top class players all over the pitch.
Maybe having less pressure to carry the team as he has been expected to at Liverpool at the age of 19 will help his game out no ends
Not being relied upon may help his development and also not being played out of position

It's stupid to not understand why he wants to move on to a club that can fulfil his ambition then
In today's inflated transfer market plus also adding the unofficial English player tax, the £15 million is laughable. Suppose of papers can spread stupid stories like this then they may possibly get teams looking at him, which in turn will give them opportunities to write more rubbish.

Raheem won't be another SWP, all bitterness aside you have to agree he is a fantastic talent that could become one of the top players in the world one day at Man City.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
a) Typical response from a Liverpool fan calling an Evertonian 'bitter' because he disagrees with an opinion - I am too long in the tooth to be 'bitter' as you call it, against any team, whether it be United, City or Liverpool
b) I will eat my hat if in 2/3yrs Sterling is playing regular football at a top club - he will be crying to go back to Liverpool or whoever is interested so he can get 1st team football

I suppose if you compare it to Phil Jones' cost, who was a similar age with similar potential, you'd be looking at closer to his fee.

so a player who was transfered 4 years ago for £16.5 million (I think) is a good benchmark? With the extra money coming into English football and the added need for home grown players in your squad I think we should be doubling the fee that united paid for Jones.

Your club could develop him into a class player that the big clubs would want to buy I suppose, but would you get that much more than the £50million you want now.
If your club helps him progress and he goes on a free in 2 years time then you get no money and you develop a player for another club to get the benefit from.
Or in your world do you think he would stay on at Liverpool!!
So he would be prepared to give the power of his future transfer move back to the club
I'm sure that any club getting a player for free in two year who is valued at £50m now(with two years spent at the best place for his development - so you say) would compensate him in his signing on fee and wage
More envious eyes being cast from across Stanlet Park you can only dream about having a defender as good as John Stones
