Now you could trawl through my limited number of previous posts regarding this subject and you will find I have been constant in my criticism of all of the back 5, Keogh is the leader of the team and chief organiser of the defence, his lack of ability and general air of bewildered panic has affected the confidence of all of his colleagues including Grant who I'm sure you will agree form gradually declinedover the season.

We need a brand new defence, one that breads confidence in the rest of the team.

We missed Bucko, don't think we need a whole new defence....more changes? we had it but McClaren had his balls tweaked.....

Zz some fans will blame the whole team for the defending last season. But I totally agree with you mate, this team needs a new defence to give them a confidence boost. Every time last season when stupid mistakes were happening especially in defence heads were going down. A little story, the players had a little chat saying if they do any more mistakes they will do a huddle, did anyone go to Milwall last season, they did it twice and soon stopped doing it cause it was pathetic really

Well not too sure about a battle between Backo and 666, but 666 is spot on in his assessment of Keogh. I remember his first pre season at Mansfield and he was garbage but I gave him the benefit of the doubt but time and time again he makes stupid mistakes which ultimately cost us.

For endeavor and bravery I award him 10 but in actual ability and tactical nous 6/10.

Who knows, as others have said he may flourish without the captains armband but I wouldn't be upset if Keogh along with Albentosa, Forsyth, Shotton and Warnock were shipped out

Whereas, I don't disagree with anything Backo has said.
