I watched him a few times in a poor Blackpool side and he didn't impress me but that maybe because of the quality of his teammates.
A bit of a hothead on the park.
Happy with the cbs signed, the rb has some attributes so could be useful. Importantly for me they're all young and will be keen to impress. When last season the team too often looked lazy or unfit.
If Halliday isn't good enough to be an important first teamer at least he's likely to show desire and fight which we need in the squad.
I'd be happy signing him, looked quite tricky any time I've seen him
( not much admittedly)
The Scot he replaced at Blackpool, Bob Harris, another ex Rangers youth, was a better player imo.
I think Blackpool swapped Sheffield United Harris for Halliday.
Average footballer but a massive Rangers fan and a good friend of Hutton and Allan, he would do a job in the championship that's for sure
Aye cud there's a huge gap between championship and Premiership

Yip, Motherwell certainly proved there is
What about Falkirk winning the scottish cup?
They didn't even make the playoffs. There's also been several games last few years where Rangers beat premiership teams, including Motherwell and the mighty Inverness.
Don't kid yourself

Halliday scored the winner v Chelsea in FA Cup in jan
by all accounts he is one of the nandos generation and a bit lazy, will need to get his act together to win a deal.

I wasn't aware that game finished 3-2
Yes he is indeed one of that generation, like I said, he's a good friend of Allan and Hutton.
Never ever stood out in his younger days at Rangers, I'd be surprised if he did so now.
it didn't, it finished 4-2. he still scored the winner
some players just don't screw the nut when younger. hutton will regret not taking his chance when he's stuck at Annan or East Fife next season.
I hope we can get a deal done for Allan

I agree
If the opposition score 2 goals and you scored the 3rd goal for your team......then regardless of how many more your team score, you scored the winning goal.
