He had a decent time when Ronaldo was there. Also remember he tore us a new one on a good couple of occasions. Gifted footballer, but very inconsistent.

Never had the consistency and always in the shadow of Ronaldo, but certainly made a mark in England to be fair to him.

Good player was Nani.

He's better then Ashley Young but I suppose he can't play LWB so they are dumping him (and his obscene wages).

They have replaced him with Depay though, who I believe will turn out to be excellent, and they also have Di Maria who can play out wide so I can see why they were trying to, and succeeded in, getting rid.

Don't really understand what happened to him. He was a good player.

I can tell them exactly what happens, as i have done the last 3 seasons, but they don't listen for some reason.

Good to dream though, and 4th will get them into the champions league again and another 2nd round exit.

To be fair, I remember when he played on the right consistently - at the end of 09/10 and throughout 10/11 season - he actually looked fantastic.

I honestly thought he deserved to be one of the front runners for PFA Player of the Season in 2011 - didn't even get nominated though, as I recall.
