I thought his level was Sunderland ... Oh Yeah, I see what you mean

He's gash. Brendan will keep him, hopefully.

A MANC TALKING SENSE

He'd do a job if played regularly but Everton can do better.

A load of goals? At sunderland he scored 7 PL goals in a season, of which 3 or 4 were from the penalty spot. Highly doubt he would get you 10 goals.

Rap, we have gone through this before.

But for every single point Liverpool finished behind the previous seasons total the club spent £5.35m

So I hope position money covers that

Anyway.

Boring, anyone think he is worth it. He is an international that Rodgers said would be a KOP favourite.

I think he could do a job, while he sits out his deal and would be motivated to put one over on Rodgers

Thanks for acknowledging the expensive failure Rodgers delivered

That's great, finally you have come round RAP and accepted Rodgers failure in spending over £100m to do a Spurs. I would have thought you would expect a title challenge for that amount of money.

That's good that you have tempered your expectations. Especially how the current manager is going, spending massive amounts to go backwards from a season of near glory

Arouna, How's your title challenge going?

When is Bob going to honour his promise of CL football. And don't come back with the tired lie of he didn't say it, or you haven't seen any quotes of him saying it.

If Martinez didn't promise CL football then Kenwright is a lying sack of chit and anything he says is not worth listening to as it is also probably a lie. Also this would make Martinez a yes man and therefore as unreliable as Kenwright.

If Martinez did say it (which everyone except you believes he did) then you are full of chit yourself and anything you say is not worth listening to as it is also probably a lie.

Either way someone is lying and the fact that you believe what you are being told by one or more liars (chairman, manager, you or all 3) then your judgement would appear to be impaired and as such are an unreliable source ergo NOT WORTH LISTENING TO.

There I'm glad I got that off my chest

I have used reasonable logic on which to base my argument. Please try to use at least some logic to refute any of the points I have laid out here.

You talk nads, will that do for you?

For a club(Liverpool) that has spent over £200m and counting in about three years, why is the manager allowed to fail ?

posted on 8/7/15

I think the general consensus of Everton fans is that Martinez didn't say that, more likely something along the lines of 'I will get you back up the table or I will have you challenging for Champions League places' and Kenwright embellished it somewhat. Am fairly sure either way it doesn't really matter as he didn't put a time limit on it.

On the other hand Rogers did clearly say if you spend £100m in a window that you should expect a title challenge and yet you reds who are obsessed with Everton despite your protestations of our apparent irrelevance never seem to question that? Should you not be concerned with your own club first? You've just spent £29m on a player I guarantee none of you could have picked out of a line up prior to you signing him but now you're probably telling us he is the second coming.....

And yet it is a guarantee that both you and I know is true.

I'd rather keep Kone than have Borini and I'm desperate for us to get shot of him
