I hate to be pedantic my friend but Herrera was identified during Fergie's tenure.
He apparently impressed during the schooling they gave us in the Europa and was earmarked back then. Moyes followed up the interest.
Moyes wanted him but I guess it's not clear if he was the one who spotted him, just as likely that uniteds scouts did.
While there is no doubting Heisenberks idiocy credentials what so ever.
Yeah I'm sure Fergie was scouting him.

This happens quite a lot I've noticed.
Regarding the OP, I'm quite surprised at that.
I thought Herrera would've been one of the first names on most people's teamsheets for next season.
He certainly is for me.
Having had a season to settle, I think he's going to be absolutely brilliant this coming season.
I just hope we can add a bit more dynamism and bite to the midfield which Schneiderlin provides.

This division over a player reminds me of what happened when Carzola arrived at Arsenal.
Not the superstar the club was hoping for but a year later had them eating out of his hand.
Herrera was spotted by Moyes but to his credit LVG has given him a chance and like Cazorla will deliver.
Love is the key.
