I tried some rye bread. I'd never come across that before. Very different kind of thing. Do you have English muffins?

English muffins? Dont think I looked ever for them. We have enough stuff in our "Bäckerei". You wont miss your muffins

Worst thing is I'm moving in with a vegetarian. Land of the Schwein and I can't eat so much.
Miss Lexington is vegan and I'm vegetarian. Still a great selection of 'meat replacement stuff' (as the missus likes to call it) in German Supermarkts. Can even get authentic tasting Currywurst. Lecker!

I'd rather cook proper vegetarian dishes than go for the less than acceptable meat replacements.
I'll probably cook stuff I can easily add meat to, she's not militant about it. I tried currywurst out there, it was kind of bland.
