No. A striker is needed imo. I don't rate rooney tbh and then we have Wilson who us completely unproven and hernandez who is probably going to go.
Also feel we need a CB and I'd like us to still bring in one more cm ie schneiderlin

And a number 10 or attacking mid. I don't think Mata is exactly the right fit to play behind a striker, and Rooney's touch is too poor to play there if we want to contend with the best in Europe.
The striker situation is a complex one as one suspects Rooney will be first choice, so any new striker may have to be patient, or new striker plays but Rooney plays a bit deeper displacing another player. What to do with Rooney aye??!!

Ramos is too much of a hot head. he is not the leader we need
Hummels would have been perfect, his lack of pace is a secondary issue to his fitness problems
Everyone that watched laliga agreed otamendi was the best cb in the league. And seems the best option imo.
Controversially rather than pay valencia 35 mil does anyone else think a straight swap for.mata will make more sense. mata is loved in valencia, and despite his brilliance he looks out of place in our 433 system. I mean where do you play him at utd?
