I completely agree with you, you do have too much time on your hands
How is Cazorla at CM and ACM but in other positions better players are left out for worse?
For me walcott is still best out wide on the right wing.
Ox is just too damn injury prone but I guess so are the rest of the squad bar Giroud

---------------
Didn't Wenger settle on Cazorla playing deeper but he's more naturally a CAM?

Not answering the question. Why is, for example, Gabriel not back up for both CB positions? Why isn't Ox ahead of Welbeck on the left? Or indeed Alexis on the right as well?

There are two CB positions. I've mentioned in the analysis that Cazorla for instance has players of essentially equal quality able to step in to CM so it doesn't effect the overall scores.
Take Cazorla out of CM altogether and you have Ramsey, Wilshere and Arteta who are all excellent.
Take Sanchez out of LW and there's a drop in quality, take Walcott out of RW and there's a drop in quality.
But you have taken players out of positions for players with less quality??
What I am getting at is that if Per is injured then Gabriel comes in, not Chambers.
If Welbeck is a 4 then surely Ox at at least 6 on the left (although I think he is equally effective on the left as the right) would be used ahead of Daniel?
Some of these ratings are bizarre.
Walcott as good a striker as Coquelin is a defensive mid?
Yeah that's a fair point DJ. I'll update in a sec.
Chris, do you think Walcott should be rated higher or lower at CF?
We clearly don't need a DM signing then
What an absolute Arselicle this is
