Maybe I'm neither high nor drunk. Maybe my account has been hacked by someone on crack.
The Claudio Ranieri lookalike is bothering me now. Can anyone resolve the issue?

Slap a hair piece on him and he's his twin
I mentioned Kane earlier, but was met with a few "could be a one season wonder" replies, yet when you see the "i think depay will be a massive hit next season" quotes (and there have been quite a lot of them) then the same logic obviously doesn't apply,

You're embarrassing yourself, Walking in Memphis. Let it go, we'll not speak of this in the morning.
Sign him and put him on the wing to accomodate Rooney.
Anyway, were being linked with Lewandowski now, yes please Ed.
No chance, even mighty United cannot compete with Qatarππππ
Fack it Denis Law is still alive and kicking. Get him up top !
Ranieri looks like an American character actor, but the man's name escapes me. He was a Senator in "The Gladiator".
Re: Ranieri lookalike. I too thought John Inman to begin with without looking at the rest of the comments.
Not a great epiphany. I've tried really hard to like this guy but watched him fail miserably time and again. He's a poor man's Falcao and if we're stupid enough to bring him in you'll see how out of depth he is
Since we are all in a carefree fùcking phase.
Fùck it, let us get Muller
Fúck it lets get Muller, Cavani and Lacazette.
One of them will turn out all right and we'll píss the U21's this year with the other two.
Who needs Football Manager?
Indipendant say we want Lewandowski, now that would be an amazing signing.
Our u21's are awesome tbf. So good we let the best of them go
Okay, the OP was more about the sort of window-madness that can set in after the thrill of acquisition than a serious plea that we sign Cavani.
On the other hand, I don't think it's unlikely we'll go for him. He's the biggest name striker who looks likely to be available this summer, and we know Woodward (and his sponsor chums) likes a big name signing.
We should have done this years ago and not let city get a foothold.
Can you imagine? "Sergio, do you want to join the biggest club in the world or the biggest club in Hazel Grove?"

Yeah, I can't quite get my head around why Fergie didn't spend what was (now) clearly available to him.
Busby
Was it available to him?
The way I saw it was the initial period of the Glazer reign had a honeymoon period where we were able to buy some players like Nani and Anderson but then the purse string were tightened for a few seasons where we saw signings like Owen and Valencia. Ferguson seemed to be covering it up with the 'no value in the market' words.
However over the past 2/3 years our income commercially has increased massively combined with the lose of Ferguson has meant spending money has become essential. I really don't think Ferguson had the kind of money we have been spending since he left in the last few seasons of his time here.

You could well be right, still, Fergie spent his big bucks on players like Nani and Anderson, young players with potential.
The strategy now is clearly to go for big names, something Fergie rarely did (English players aside).
