Not seen any live action from him myself, but if he is ready to go, Poch won't be scared to play him - we can be pretty certain of that.
No guarantee he is ready, but the argument some put about him not being so - that the jump from League One to PL is too big - is false. Bentaleb jumped directly from U21 football for example, a far lower level.
I have a strong feeling he will be in the squad. We aren't being linked with central midfielders that are naturally more offensive, and have moved Holtby and Fraudinho on.
I'd be surprised if we don't sign another more defensively minded midfielder though, unless he feels Veljkovic is ready too I imagine we will start the season with 5 central midfielders in the sqaud, being:
Bentaleb
Signing/Veljkovic
Mason
2 of Dembele, Alli and Carroll
I'm hearing more and more of this kid , hope his as good as the hype.
I remember John Bostock he was no Steve Sedgley.
He looks a fantastic prospect but its early days.
I expect him and Pritchard to get chances in the Europa and the early rounds of the other cups.
Kane and Mason came to the fore this way and they became regulars,
Mason went straight from League 1 to your first team. Then again I really really don't rate Mason so not a good example.
I have seen Ali a few times now and physically and Technically not up to EPL standard yet.
We need more experience in the squad and not keep resting our present hopes on 19yr old kids.
musnt rush this kid and put too much pressure on him.
I know what will happen. the idiots at WHL will start getting on his back if he mislays a few passes, standard.
and then he will get scared to open up and play his natural game.
I think we are all collectively hoping a bit too much on dele at the minute.
I don't agree with comments about under 21 football is a worse standard to come from because the under 21s still have the opportunity to train with senior international and premier league quality players. In general have much better access to coaching and training techniques.
I would be much more confident if dele was promoted from the u21s than league one. Then again the argument is you can only play what your up against.
Kid looks a talent but I wanna see him in our under 21s first. Can take the place of lesniack.
@watch out
ive heard alli is a beast physically and he and bentaleb are the best trainers?
do you know if this is true LLM?
"think we are all collectively hoping a bit too much on dele"
This X100
I've known dele for years and really believe he'll make a big impact for us but the pressure needs to be taken off him and let him adjust and grow into the squad naturally.
He has said to me a week back or so that he believes his staying at Spurs and won't be loaned out and hopes to play the Europa games which he's very excited about.
Where is this thought process coming from out of interest? I've never seen the play so I'm curious as to where the hype is from.
He's not played a minute of football above League 1 level yet he's being talked up based on what he's done in training or vs Oldham?
It's a massive jump to make, plenty of players have been big fish in the championship and absolute pony in the PL (Chopra, Earnshaw and Tom Ince spring to mind). No point in getting too excited.
Plenty have also been playing at that level and performed in the PL.
Others have been meh lower down and saved performances for the PL. Three in our side now in fact.
None of us know as we don't see him every day. It's not impossible he will just burst on the scene straight away and perform
Not saying he will at all, just it isn't impossible for a player to do so
What I will say is that he has featured very heavily on the Spurs site over the last few weeks. Read in to that of you will.....
My point was that IF we don't sign a quality CM I do not see Dele being much worse than Mason.
A few people here said Kane was no even Championship level, Mason couldnt even get a premiership loan or secure a starting place for lower teams.
Poch should'nt not be afriad to show faith in any player should they show the talent.

How was Lesniak? I know he rejected a contract from us, did he have potential or just another squad filler?
@doo doos
Alright mate
Lesniak was ok last year, he really performed to his best after a slow start at Spurs although he was shunted around all over the park. Not in a good way he was moved to fill a gap not because he was a great talent sadly.
I see the media put it as if we have lost a prized starlet as far as I was aware the contract he "rejected" was a third year development deal (a deal where they've not won a pro contract yet it's there last chance to get one with us) effectively he was out of contract because he had not got a pro deal.
Bare in mind we wrap people up early doors with contracts ccv, maghoma and walker-peters all sitting on pro contracts. The fact he didn't have one should say something.
Let's see how lez does in Turkey but I certainly don't expect him to do a matic and become a beast of player.
My company has a season ticket at MK Dons, i do go the odd game a season there and to be honest its pretty painful to watch.
The only players I've seen there that looked to be head and shoulders above other players in the last few years were:
Deli Ali
Patrick Bamford
Remember Paul Mitchel came from MK dons originally and would have seen the lad from a young age.
He has a great eye for a pass and is strong running with the ball at his feet.

What about the kid Arsenal let go, now at Wolves? Afobe? No good?
When was the last time you went? Do you reckon he's at a level - physically or technically - here he'd be able to hold down a squad place? Push Dembele or Mason
