Ant see how anyone would consider Milner a bad signing he's exactly what we needed and a very good footballer he will make a big difference to us.
Clyne too a ready made full back in a position we needed to fill, I understand some reservations due to lovren and to a lesser extent Lallana but for me Clyne goes straight into the starting 11 and makes us better.
Firmino hopefully does what we hope he can have a good feeling about habit he needs time. Ings too is defo an upgrade on Borini and Lambert, has the energy to help us press from the front and offers is better options from the bench and for cup and Europa games.
BOgden fine for a back up keeper if Ming got injured Id be happy for him to come in especially when Jones was our previous option. And Gomez is a kid who is rated and most likely goea on loan no issue there.
We still need a striker for sure and we need to spend a big chunk of the Sterling cash on him.
I'm happy the majority of the squad is already in place with hopefully a striker to come in, after that if we sell a few we could look for someone else but besides a striker think we will be ok.
I think most are happy with Milner if not quite jumping through hoops.
I get that I've always rated him think the whole boring tag he has goes against him but can see him having a big impact on us on and off the pitch.
United have made some decent signings and we just lost Sterling one of our best attackers so people get a bit worried. If we were to announce a deal for a striker today that changes we are all fickle in the wonderful football world
I recently spoke with a Charlton fan re Gomez, their MOTS. Great reviews. Going out on loan? I don't think so. Despite Clyne being a very good player, my vote for RB when he comes back is still Flannagan. Has anyone got any news on the boy?

December apparantly Jimmy, we're short a left back, with Enrique most likely going we really only have Moreno, Flanno can play there too, but is Clyne, Moreno and a fit Flanno enough for the full backs? Or am I missing someone?
Can Gomez play full back? I'm not too happy with center backs / midfielders playing at full back anymore, in a flat back 4 you need proper defenders.
I'm happy with what we've done.
I'd quite like Benteke and Delph if I'm honest, and then offload a few and I think we're in an alright place.
I think we've got to be realistic, as much as we'd love a Reus to replace Sterling, that isn't going to happen.
Kneerash, Gomez is a RB. I just wonder where else he can play. He has played in other positions.

He's a centre back but can also play right back.
I wanted us to give Gomez a go, yes he's young but I just have a feeling he'll be a top player, Clyne I hope steps up again after finishing the season in a very low key way.
Ilori is another I'd like to see more of.
It's a bit of a disjointed team at the moment I don't get how Rodgers is going to set up.
This is my best guess with my Rodgers hat on.......
Clyne----Skrtel----Sakho----Moreno
---------Hendo----Can-----Milner------
------------------Coutinho------------------
-------------Firmino--Studge------------
With Sterling going there is a ready made replacement in Shaqiri just waiting to be snapped up.
It's a No-brainer.
Probably get Shaqiri and Benteke for the Sterling fee.
That would be great dealings if they could.
Not greatly enthused with the summer so far. Not entirely sure that we have strengthened to such an extent that we could catch up with the top 4.
Clyne is likely a decent addition at RB but the rest of the defence, including keeper, is still the same and still that will remain one of our big problem areas.
Losing Sterling, despite what a lot of folks say is definitely a blow. Firmino? definitely an unknown element here. We've been excited about other big price tag exciting players coming in from the continent before and have seen them under perform many times, so I have to reserve judgement on him.
We finished a long way off 4th last year. Arsenal are stronger. Utd look to be doing great business. Chelsea are streets ahead. City are the only ones with a real question mark on them, but I'd be surprised if they didn;t continue to rebuild now that Sterling is wrapped up.
We have many more parts of our team needing fixed before we can consider ourselves top 4 contenders.
You are forgetting Wisdom for RB too lads.
Would love a top striker to come in and possibly a cover for LB apart from that pretty happy, unless Kovacic or Illarramendi can be got, that would be sweet!
get back where you belong luv... i stalk these boards.
