So last year it was Remy (because of some ailment that hasn't affected his ability to play at all EVER)

This year it's Benteke (not sure what reason they will give when we don't sign a striker again)

I'm beginning to see a pattern here. I don't think Liverpool will sign a proven striker.

As much as it sickens me to say it, it would appear that FSG are all about buying cheap potential and selling on for a vast profit.

Last year's bargain bin netted us Lambert & Balotelli. This year it is Ings. None of whom I would feel comfortable with as the main striker while Studge is still out of action.

We could be well off the pace by the time Studge returns to action, bearing in mind our first 7 away games.
