NY, I'm here, sizzling on the Left Coast - both Saturday and Sunday were 97F at the airport, probably 100F on the west side of town where we live.

We have family here from Doncaster (and Bristol), and the weather has been a little hot for them! We are off to the coast today where it is forecast to be a cool 70F - and "only" 89 in Portland.

My mate from work ( dinglefan ) asked me this question. Would you pay more for a player from a team that's just got promoted from a lower league or pay less for a player from a higher division that's just got relegated.
My reply was he could be a shy t player in a good team or a good player in a shy t team.

I think you can always be a good player in a poor team or a bad player in a good team BVZ. It depends what the manager of the club who want you think you can do for them. ie Dickov must rate this kid from Wigan.

With a bit of luck he was a free agent, so no fee involved. Player is worth it by the way, sometimes the commentaries are a bit weird but the highlights and interviews are worth the money, now in HD.

We were up in the nineties this past weekend in Milwaukee, Micky, also had a couple of tornadoes just down the road.

Haha, hiya there newyankee, how ya doing? I 'nipped' down for the match last night (thanks to the A1 it was a 3 and a half hour drive back to Newcastle). Great game, even though Sunderland were terrible, we played some great stuff and some of the young 'uns looked good. New keeper is immense.
