Some Ubisofts best games so I thought Id let you know your opinion of the company may be correct in a small sample of their games but not overall.

Yeah you right RtM however in this instance we are referring to The Division therefore it is relevant and less so to Rayman.

yeah its has been spoken about already and i will be on the Beta when its released. So far everything we have seen has been pretty highly scripted so hard to guage just how good it will be .... Iv always liked Rainbox 6 however. Im a little concerned at the size of the levels and would like them to be bigger but again I have only seen a few maps so no idea if they get bigger. It will be a good initial point to then go on and develop the game further tho. Its a slightly new spin they have now with 100% destruction and dynamic levels which can be further developed in further games or DLC. If i am goin out on limb and doing a pretty uneducated prediction i say to start with it plays out very very well and gets rave reviews then due to small levels it will die off. However the devs will more than make their targets and in turn the next in the franchise will be awesome but no doubt not sell as well ! .... im full of theories i am ! !!

They raped and mutilated Ghost Recon. It used to be so wonderful. Not its a mutation of Call of Duty and diarrhea.

Or is that two of the same thing?

Delboy lets be honest Rainbow 6 Siege is just CS for the next generation, christ even the 2 maps being shown are copies of the most played CS maps in history, and the map size will be related to quick games, it seems they are after 5 min matches, which makes sense also. So for me everything is looking ok and is the game that people prob want. Though if im to be honest this strikes me as another Titan Fall/Evolve - i agree it well review very well, but people will stop playing after a short time. Will depend on how well balanced the game is i think. We shall see.

And I agree with your comments about the Division - but on the other hand im pretty stoked by what i have seen, seems it will just depend on all the rest.

yup i agree simon its just CS for the consoles almost ... Quick games which if im totally honest isnt entirely up my street but still willing to give it a go. My only problem is and as you will know with CS is that with it being small it will be predictable in the end. and the better teams will expolit the shizzle out it ... this in turn will be the reason why people turn off... they will prob release an improved more polished sequel that will be a better game but not sell as well. As long as the game is done well and there is no reason to think Rainbow 6 wont be then it will at least bring out competition and a slightly different look of things in the FPS sense .... competition is always good ... in fact its essential for our games to progress.

wots peoples views on 'for honour'which comes out next year, from the gameplay that has been shown I think it looks awesome, and has the potential to be, I just hope it doesn't end up a disappointment, looking forward to seeing more of it!!

But CS was never predictable Delboy and thats why it has lasted over 15 years, but this is a lot to do with good level design. If they however, just rely on the gadgets to make the game it will be over pretty quickly. If the maps are designed well it could be a start of something beautiful, but then with the gadgets we are back to it all being about the balancing, if something is op or a game breaker, and yes people will find these things quickly, the servers will empty quicker than White Hart lane and Spurs being spanked 4-0 at HT

is that the 8 player sword fighting war game ... were 4 players in each team go in with Bots and basically try to defeat each other .... if its the game im thinkin of it looked quite impressive, the combat looked very good (sword fighting has never been done well in gaming). Again however it looks like its small wee mini battles, if they can incorporate that into a larger scale battle even with more human players it could be very special. Again its the kinda first of its kind on these consoles so I cant expect the latter but it has the potential to become a game i would be very interested in the future maybe a cpl of titles down the line once it has become more of a war battle. Again its something i will be looking to try .... assumin im on about the right game !!

wouldnt totally agree with the unpredicatbility ... i mean once you kow what your doing on CS you will have your favourite routes that you will have a fave loadout for ... will throw your grenades/smoke etc at the same points ...bouncing them of the exact same point on a wall to bounce round the corner every time. And you could almost be certain you know pretty much what areas the defending team will be waiting at every game, thought the dynamic maps will help sove this a little. But as you said with small maps comes exploits and there is no point goin over what type ... you clearly have played CS you know what sorta things im talking about

What im looking for in a FPS is a large WW2 game that emphasises on realism. buletdrop, recoil to be fair recoil is one of the biggest things i want in FPS i want it to be skill based as much as possible. Too many games are noobing themselves up/dumbing down to attract the masses and have everyone "enjoy" the game. Basically they dont want games that a 12 yr old comes on and gets owned and never plays again. They want games that complete numbskulls can come in and still get some kills.

Currently the FPS im playing most is Planetside 2 after my disspointment with Hardline (doing exactly as i said in terms of dumbing down) IMO Planetside 2 and BF4 are the only two FPS i would acknowledge as being top of the league on Next Gens

dazt84 i am pretty stoked with "For Honor", it seems to be a 3rd person moba with an interesting design in combat, so looks pretty very cool. Would just be concerned with lag on this one as it seems very twitchy

yeah I know what you mean, at this moment in time, its one game I wish was coming out now as its completely different to what has come out before. I'm also hoping for a new ww2 fps game, would love to re do d day landings on this gen of consoles, heard that they are at the early stages on a new brothers in arms game, could be interesting!

I would be happy to go back to the simpler times, just got fed up with CoD and the stupid amount of options, upgrades, and grenades..... that you need to use once per game to clear a specific stage. I would love for CoD to go back there or even start Medal of Honor again.

From everyone I know there is ZERO interest in VR. Not sure anyone thinks it will be a success. It will be the new Sega CD.

There are also huge franchises that have been built on crap as well dont forget. Call of Duty, Assassins Creed, FIFA, Madden etc to name a few
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Assassins Creed was not built on crap. FIFA used to be good too. Call of Duty was decent back in the day.

call of duty 1 and 2 were fantastic, as were the first black ops and modern warfare
