As Darren says Stones is treading water playing under Martinez. Mourinho will turn him into a good defender, and needs the move. Will be good for England's sake to have Cahill and Stones together at club level.

Agree, Im kind of glad mourinho is speaking out on the ridiculous transfers going on. Even in abramovich early days, we spent less than 10 mill for J.cole and G.Johnson, young english prospects.

Chelsea don't need stones, we have Jt for atleast a year, cahill, zouma and Ivanovic. Let stones contract run down another year or 2 then bid for him.

Chelsea would be better just having Christensen as 4th choice CB, Terry, Cahill, Zouma more than good enough

Stones is an average player. There really is no value in the market. Shaw is worth more the £27m-£31m we paid then Stones the £20m+ Everton are after.

Utd and Value

TCP we got a lot of value this summer and even last summer bar Shaw and Di Maria.

TCP SAF used to not buy that many players that were stars but only potential as he saw there is no value in the market.
