Finally an article on the ,000 board. I've been waiting years!
I don't think we should be paying much more than 250k anyway. They got him free a year ago and will lose him for free next year.
What did Celtic pay to get the Dundee United lad early?

I'll be stunned if you get him for less than £500k this summer.
Talk of £100k bid - if that is the case then it's a bit below the belt; more an unsettle the player type bid which I don't agree with. Okay, last year of his contract, but I would say £300k/£400k acceptable. Above tha then wait for January. Hibs have got to believe that this could now impact on player performance with a formal bid in.

He can't let it unsettle him.
What if he's shìte this season? Will Rangers still want him?
He needs to perform and show Rangers or whoever else that they need him.
another bid is going in today

That's easy to say, Ivan, but with the best will in the world our subconscious can be difficult to contend with. No matter how many times I tell myself, or others tell me, to put something out of my mind, it can keep on nagging at me, affecting everything I do. It's human nature. Once the genie is out of the bottle, it's very hard to get it back in. That's why, if the £100k bid is right, I think it's a bit naughty and underhand on Rangers part.
Agree 3/400 k as there would be a premium from buying from league rivals.
Anything higher than that is just wasting money and paying over the odds. I would like us to stop repeating old mistakes

The timing and level of the bid has been done to unsettle the player and the club
Whilst I don't particularly agree with this approach it is what happens in fitba
It is not entirely an industry full of morals and scruples
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We're supposed to be reintegrating ourselves back into Scottish football and building bridges, though. We know that ever penny is a prisoner, but making derisory offers to competitors is not conducive to bridge building.
Sdf mentioned it was 200k so I think the value of the bid is all just rumours
I imagine Stubbs will have a few choice words regarding the value and timing of this bid
Certainly makes Saturday's game a little tastier for the fans
