Hope the Smalling/Jones partnership gets a run out at some point. For a guy that goes on about having balance in his sides (thus having a right/left footed cb partnership) I find it a bit strange that LVG insists on having a winger in AM, and an AM on the wing.

The leaving because of the burglary thing is just an excuse. He never wanted to join us from day 1. Really don't want players like that at the club.

considering ADM must have been on £8-10m a year you do wonder why he couldn't pay some brick outhouses £100k pa to stand outside his front door scaring people.

but then i never understand how players get caught drunk driving, if i was on their kind of money i would but a large stretch limo, pay some bloke £50k pa to ferry me around, and have a revolving bevy of beauties in the back seat blowing me from dawn till dusk.

Agree he didn't want to be there but the after effects of burglary can be devastating even if you are not there when it happens, never mind if you family are caught up in it

None of players live in Manchester anyway. Not most of them anyway.

Majority live in Prestwich & Alderley Edge. A couple in Didsbury. Those areas are some of the highest real estate in the country, including "down Sarf"

In fact there are more millionaires living in Cheshire than in London apparently.
