The Carroll one smelled of desperation, being last minute and all. But the Henderson one is just hilarious. Looks like Brucey still a Devil through and through.
Reasons why this post is utter rubbish:
1) It's in all-caps.
2) We signed Degen on a free
3) We sold Mascherano for more than we bought him, like wise with Arbeloa.
4) I believe he is a WUM masquerading as a Liverpool fan.
Jog on sir, jog on.
Mascherano, Arbeloa, Sissoko and Johnson have been succesful, and Degen was a free transfer!
CAN YOU STOP SHOUTING PLEASE?! THANK YOU.
AND OUR NET SPEND HAS ONLY TOTALLED TO 6MILLION POUNDS FOR F'S SAKE! WORK IT OUT. IF NOT THEN CHECK OUT MY ARTICLE!
35m for Andy Carroll
20m for Jordan Henderson
What have either of these players done to justify these prices. Both had a good 6 months in the Premier League and that is all.
ARE LIVERPOOLS NEW OWNERS MAKING THE SAME MISTAKES AS THE LAST ONES? OVER SPENDING ON AVERAGE PLAYERS?
I hope so!
But I agree with Didi about the caps, the op writer being a wum

I have used many football forums over the years and would just like to say that you are one of the worst 'posters' I have ever encountered
Shouting doesn't make you right, in fact it makes you look even more stupid than you obviously are.
who will be next Downing for £25m
SORRY MY CAPS LOCK BUTTON IS STUCK NEED A NEW KEYBOARD!
I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the BBC article for Henderson.
£20m? He might be worth it one day but he's hardly justified £10m yet.
And its even possible that N'Gog might be going the other way as well. (Sure he's awful but he's probably worth a few mil himself)

I heard we were going to move for Hargreaves (the white Winston Bogarde) and offer him the same wages that he gets at Utd.
Apparently we've had a rethink when we learnt that he earns £1.33 million per game
Titus Bramble 15m is next
Got an english diddy? Want big bucks? Call Kenny on.........
Are you really that stupid? Its very simple to anyone with more than a single brain cell what we're doing. Transfers are all about judgement. So if Dalglish thinks Henderson is going to be a top player then he buys him now and while he is still developing he is integrated into the style of playing and the 'ways' of the club. Does it really matter if we pay 20m now or in 3 years time (when his price could be a lot higher). Dalglish is renowned for his ability to 'spot' a player. Of course he won't get them all right, but Fergie's record isn't exactly blemish free is it? Hope it wasn't too complicated for you.
His price in 3 years will be around 2-3m when he leaves out the back door to Bolton or Sunderland.
terentius1 (U1863) yes but you forgot the small matter of what if he flops like the tens of thousands of liverpool youth of before? liverpool has the worst youth to first team rate in the established top flight.

Of course it could work out for Daglish and there is a reasonable chance of that happening but the fact is he hasn't done anything to warrant a £20m price tag yet and Liverpool have been held to ransom.
Forget it anyway, if were paying 16m for Jones then we've done pretty much the same thing.
While Carrol & Henderson have great potential, which may (or may not) be fulfilled, in both instances LFC have probably paid £10m more than their market value.
Seems like £20m wasted.
keep this us and your team could cost more than City's...Johnson £18m, Henderson £20m, Jones £16m, Suarez £23m, Carroll £35m, Aquilani £20m
MU_FC. I agree with you but isn't it the same for any club? Its impossible to guarantee every buy will be a success. You win some, you lose some. Dalglish has a higher success rate than most. Ex pat - I assume you're about 10? An extremely dull 10 year old at that.
dalglish has always been a chequebook manager
it pains me to say, but Liverpool's owners are spot on, they are running that club like a club should be run, they splash the cash, have faith in the manager, and respect the fans, and there is us Evertonians with clowns in the board room, we are going to be left behind, i wish we were half as good as Liverpool, im not looking forward to next season, we will be trying to get 40 points and Liverpool will be probably sitting pretty at the top of the League.
they will win nada with donkeys like caro hendo
