He may well be available for loan; it's going to be tough breaking into our mid-field, especially if Sherwood signs any more mid-fielders; think Gardner would have to rely on injuries as it is. And another year playing all the time is what he needs.

I think this is just a typical twitter rumour, Villa have said recently that they're not looking to loan him out again.

I can't see anything myself on Twitter from Alan Nixon suggesting that, if you can't find it from the horses mouth so to speak, I'd doubt the validity of it.

The NEP says that Forest won't be signing Maynard. Not sure he did enough to earn a deal but he's better than nothing... of course we don't know what he was asking for either. Might have priced himself out of a contract?

It appears that Radi has gone too, according to twitter. I'll never forget those 2 cracking goals he scored (you know the ones) plus a fair few others of note.

It's originated from Radi's Facebook page apparently. I quite like Radi from a few years ago even with the inconsistency, he had this knack of making decisive passes that others could see, top vision. Pity after a decent spell under Billy he just seemed to get the consistency but not the way we would have wanted.

Papers reporting Gardner is going to come back on loan after his injury. How true this is I don't know, but I hope it is true.

All we need then is a striker or hope Fryatt comes back asap and gets back to his best and stay fit until Brit gets back.

Good deal for both parties .. Enjoyed the game yesterday, for a friendly was great entertainment. I think with the signing's villa have made its unlikely Gardner will be a started so a move back to Forest is a no brainer and would expect he will jump at the chance if offered ..
