My father, like many, worked hard for years for himself and his family. Never paid for him or most others. He was not very intelligent, but he knew someone like Toryandproud when he spotted them, and despised them.
Soft, moneygrubbing, no morals, happy to boast on social media anonymously, and of course, stupid.

Mate, he's an out and out wum. At least I hope he is, cause if he's like this in 'real life' everyone he knows will hate him

Yep, my working class parents in Liverpool did very well in the Thatcher era, hard work pays when the state doesn't regulate every single business/economic thing you do a la Labour. It wasn't the Tories that damaged Liverpool, it was pathetic rioters.
______________

The Toxteth riots were a result of heavy handed/racist policing. You're right though that was the thing that damaged Liverpool In the 80's. Not reduced local budgets and mass unemployment.

My Dad died many years ago, plus my Mum. They did manage to buy their own home, retired on a basic pension as many jobs did not provide a pension in those days. Did not complain,as many of their generation, indeed thought they were lucky compared to their parents.
Things I am proud of under labour (and liberal) party.
National Health service
Benefit system
Old age pensions
Free education for all
Minimum wage
and more if you want them/

Over to you Tory Boy for what your party has done you are proud of,
Getting rid of school milk perhaps?

He was none of those. As I have said not super intelligent, but not thick. Ignorant of what? We are all ignorant but of different things. And as I said not bitter at all, though he may have had reason. And, yes, I was and am very proud of him.
Worked from 15 to 65, went through the war, never shirked anything, never took anything of the government until his pension, and looked after his family.

I thought you were ok, but you've come across pretty twàtish here. Talking about someone's parents in this way, who you couldn't possibly know anything about isn't on...
