I like Dier, but he's no centre midfielder. Hope we sign someone soon

Ali looks so good boys. Huge talent. Very direct and doesn't slow the play down.
Hate to say it but Rose is easily ahead of Davies in the pecking order.
All in all a nice run out.

Some good players now playing in the MLS. Not only the big name players but a lot of Non household known players are very good indeed.

Trippier looks an upgrade on Walker

Just seen the score, I will watch the game later, how did they perform? See the obligatory two goals were conceded, nothing changes. Still only a friendly and probably multiple changes, so no real guide to how the season will pan out.

I'm watching it at the moment and we have been on top.

Kane has missed a bunch of sitters while scoring a belter and Eriksen and Dembele look lively. I'm about to start watching the first half.

In truth, the goals we conceded were sloppy and we don't seem capable of breaking quickly on the break. I'm looking forward to seeing Ali play.

Kaka pen

2nd goal was just pure sloppy defending, just pre season rustiness I would suggest

The defence will never ever get sorted out, when you get managers, including Poch, changing the defence every other game, until you get a manager willing to play the same defenders for say a dozen games in a row in all competitions, then you will never ever get any continuity.

If we bring in two more players which will potentially be starters then it's 6 new players to adapt to the system. happy that the deadwood is gone but depth in areas worries me

agreed...but he's had time now to shape a defence recruitment wise and how he wants them to play...he's a former international CB ffs.......if we ship shed loads again this season.....
