I thought he actually played well, stretched their defence a few times and had some nice touches, just lacked support. Got one chance that he hit at the keeper that he might have done better with but I didn't see it that well.
Looks like he'll be good for games away from home when we need someone to run the channels and hold the ball up.
Remember landing in MIA and thinking 'WTF' as it was hoofing it down.
Bus to the GW hotel not far from MIA and like you say, was still roasting but still p@shing it down. Hour later and it was blaring sun and was laughing at the golfers on the course opposite the GW flapping about crocodiles
Driving in it sj is one scary experience.
Really hope cifti comes good but I'm scared he's no where near the level required for champions league
Gow bandwagon was fairly bang on there about Cif, he has a superb touch but is snatching his shots, Leigh is the more natural finisher as he more likely to have a lash whenever but Cif probs has the better all round game, pity we don't really have a system where both could play regularly unless Ronny was willing to make some shape changes
He could play behind a striker but where would that leave Stefan? he is that starting point of the pressing we do
Gow, SJ, one of the best parts of our Florida hols was a biblical thunder, lightning and the heaviest rain I have seen swimming pool session
Warmest rain I have ever felt, and as said when the sun came back it would have burnt a Teflon frying pan
Ciftci played quite well, he offers so much more than Griffiths in terms of hold up and skill and technique. The issue is and I said this at the time, I don't think he's that good a finisher.
He's still a very good footballer though and won't fall into the category of Balde, Bangura etc
The thing with cifti is I'm not convinced he is 100% a Ronny signing. I know that loads of you think different but a man is allowed an opinion.
Florida weather is mad, rain stopped now and wee one back in pool, golf cours out back is tempting but that would mean walking
Considering he's come in and started every game I'd say he is a Ronny signing, he's exactly the type of guy he likes up top so I'm not sure the reasoning behind thinking he wouldn't be his signing
I was smashed anyway when I got there. Just dumped my bags in the hotel and thought f@ck it, let's just crack on boozing to get over the jetlag. This was around the time of Peter Kaye doing his Top Bombing advert. Stupidly I decided to do exactly that from my room balcony. Yanks were freaking but I just walked out having a laugh.
Miami is a cracking place but never use any non-licenced taxi over there...pretty standard advice really.
He's better than them nnh no question.
Early days but im yet to see skill and technique, he was quite poor i felt tonight, looks strong but and had little help
Gow: you're not at the BW/GW not far from the airport are you? That had a golf course right out the back. The signs saying 'Beware Crocodiles' cracked me right up.
Shoot me down again but I'm not convinced he is running the club 100%. Maybe no manager does these days. I love Ronny, his ideas and thinking and approach are so fresh but i am a total pessimist at heart
Aye, my only worry on the golf course (played 5 times to be fair) is how keek I am, having to worry about getting eaten was not on my list
Nah man I'm over the west coast at a place called rotonda, wife has family here

Gow, nie work sir, my missus has family in the biggest sheithole in Edinburgh, Florida wins hands down
SJ "I shot a 112 but Alligators ate 23 baws"
Cifcti was poor tonight but I feel we played as if he is a runner like Griffiths rather than to his strengths
Oh I'm murder at golf also but these folk make it look easy, I must be good if these old women can do it
It's funny as. How TF can you take 'light relief' from the gub of a hungry croc!
I have had "light relief" in mouths worse than a gator
Happy gilmour style, play the course as it lies
I can't cope with anymore "relief". Something about women and hot weather
