I think 20m would be a fair price for Berahino.

It is laughable for instance that Villa are trying to get us to pay all of Ade's wages (or most of it) because they know we want him off the books. Yet they have just sold Benteke to Liverpool for £32.5m

If we can bring in Werner as back up for HK, and sign Berahino & or Bolassie we will be in reasonably good shape.

His deal with Stoke fell through because he felt they were not a big enough club for him.

We've often been chief culprits in inflating our prices. Especially if you consider the wages we pay/have paid some of our players in relation to their valuation.

As for the TV deal, that shouldn't make a difference. The euro is far weaker than a year ago. If anything now is the time to buy abroad. Think I read that based on exchange rates now compared to last year, Di Maria would be £6m cheaper now as opposed to last year.

To answer the question, no Lambert does not pave the way for berahino, I don't know how many times Albio n fans and the club itself have to point out too that he's not for sale and if he were to go he'd cost a minimum extra £10 million on top of the price the London press are quoting with no evidence.

Do London clubs and the media just ignore what the club in question is actually saying?

Means absolutely nothing we've needed another striker for a while

As has been said before £25-30m and you can have him, if not you'll have to look elsewhere

I think Spurs will struggle to get value from the PL market, everybody knows how Levy deals so would likely demand top money from him.

Also, it wouldn't make sense for WBA to sell him this season, what with the huge TV money coming in next season. They need to secure PL status and would get more from him next season.

£9m fee agreed by a Palace for Conor Wickam

Should we be looking at Wickam? Back up for Kane and happy to play in Europa/domestic cup games.

I rate Wickam higher than Danny Ings and we bid £12m for the Burnley lad.

£9m seems very reasonable compared to the asking fee for other PL strikers
