My moniker is Jimbo.

And if you ever happen to be in the company of professional musicians you will here them communicate in such a way. There is no part of our language to put over a semi quaver run like 'dig a diga ' nor a demi quaver passasage like 'trrr umph' beginning on the first note and lasting on the last note. Do you understand that or are you a boy band follower, Spice girls, Gerdward?

Sorry about the typo, but you'll notice that the u and the I are next to each other on a keyboard.

And at near 60 years old, I'm hardly likely to be into boy bands, now am I?

Are you telling me that you are aware of canntaireachd, Gaidhlig mouth music, effectively playing the pipes without pipes, just your voice.

Just checked that out, U & I are together! So no offence taken.

But no, I don't know of the music you are talking about. Would love to hear it.

It's kinda what I remember the old pipers doing. It's where you get expressions like heeder-hodurum from.

I remember the woman in the film as a very fine piper who was taught all this by her dad and others
