I was more peed at the way Agger was treated under Brendan! The whole injury prone thing was bull too
I don't think Rodgers can spot a good defender at all. The fact he rates Skrtel (and apparently Lovren) so highly is testament to that...
Sakho isn't fit enough, he picks up a lot of injuries.
If there has been a 'demotion' I suspect that is the reason.

Not it wasn't.
Anger only played 18 of Brondby's 33 league games last season, despite being their captain.
He is always injured.
Sakho is currently fit and much better than Lovren.
Lovren has not shown anything as a Liverpool fan that warrants him being first choice.
You have the results of fitness tests for Sakho do you?

Is there anything to indicate he's injured?
This is such a bad move. Just don't get why people rate Lovren and even if you do, there is no way he should be playing ahead of Sakho.

He's still being played but with our second team. He's fit enough to play...proof is in the fact that HE'S PLAYING.
They are playing now are they?
None of them are playing now? I don't see what point you're making.
I get the impression Sakho was a TC signing and Lovren was a Rodgers signing.
Firmino and Benteke aren't in the squad either for today, and we have a game tomorrow.
We all know Sakho Skrtel works and preseason is the time to get some games under Lovren's belt so just calm down!
Well you are the one saying he is playing.
But he isn't playing is he. He is in a squad. They are two different things, get it?
Irrespective, I am not claiming he is injured. I am saying he isn't very fit. He gets muscle injuries all the time.
When he has been fit, he has pretty much always been first choice under Rodgers. He has missed very few games when he has been properly fit.
I don't really understand why people are claiming Rodgers has some kind of problem with Sakho when there is no evidence of it.
Of our 38 League games last season Sakho missed the first two, having played in the World Cup. He played in every game after that until Everton on match day 6, when he got the hump at being left out but promptly missed the next 10 league games with injury.
When fit he played 9 90 mins in a row before missing another 3 with injury. 3 more 90 mins followed before missing the next 6 with injury, coming back to play 90 mins against Stoke.
Every time he was fit he played 90 mins, yet people are acting like Rodgers doesn't like him and wants him out. Its utter rubbish.
When Sakho is fully fit, he plays. When he isn't, he doesn't.

That's such a kop out.
People use the transfer committee to either have a go at rodgers or to defend rodgers depending on their agenda. It's tiresome.
It sort of doesn't matter. BR hasn't address the DM position so defensively it will be more of the same and he'll be gone by Christmas
Too many poor decisions have been made now for him to turn it around

I doubt that....BR must take all the credit for Borini!
Sakho has still been playing on the tour. Just with the second string. He's fit and able to play because he is playing.
Lovren could be getting gametime alongside Toure like Sakho has.
It would make sense to get our first-choice back four used to playing together and develop an understanding in pre-season wouldn't it?
Because as it stands, if Sakho is first choice, then our first choice back four (Clyne-Skrtel-Sakho-Moreno) have yet to play together.
And to me, that doesn't make logical sense. So either Rodgers has been neglecting the need for our first choice defence to gel or Lovren's first choice.
Either way it's bad decision making.

Truth is we don't know for sure, but it would explain him starting ahead of Sakho as in footballing terms it's not even a close call.
There is no agenda here either should giving my opinion on why Lovren may start ahead of our best defender
He was our first signing under BR wasn't he? Followed quickly by Allen and sahin.
Good times

We desperately need at least one, preferably two, new central defenders in my view. We have done so for quite a while now. Wakey wakey Brendan.
