No he's not. He's still crap. Had a little purple patch recently in front of goal but is still a poor footballer.

Torres was good at pens in his first stint at Atleti. About half his goals for them back then were pens.

Apparently Gabi is their 2nd designated poenalty taker, but he bottled it yesterday and handed the ball to Torres.

Torres is absolute garbage

In his defence he wasn't the designated pen taker at Liverpool or Chelsea. But I recall him not being particularly good.

He's actually been playing well in general since Jackson Martinez got sold to China and after he finally got his 100th goal.

Only thing people are talking about is the missed penalty and forgetting that he won the penalty in the first place out of nothing but his strong running and good control to keep it from Martinez. He hardly missed a penalty after Atletico played some incredible one touch football to create the foul.

Also that through ball for Griezmann

Torres is better than Rooney and Giroud.

Trying to argue Torres isn't crap by saying he's better than two crap strikers.

Anyone else feel like this season feels longer than usual?
It might just be because the whole Leicester story was repeated time and time again.

I do, especially as our games are so boring they feel like 180 mins rather than 90.

The football's been pretty disappointing all round this year.

Our highlight of the season was ending Spurs' title hopes. Pretty much sums us up.

I remember in the past when we used to effortlessly ruined it as just an added bonus.

Even seeing that loser Guardiola get exposed in the semi finals is getting slightly boring.

Ok, that part is a lie, that game was the best of the entire year.
