And doesn't he look thrilled about it??!!!
Reminds me of this photo of Beckford holding his shirt up with a 'I really don't want to be here' look on his face...

Yay!!!
Cheesy photo holding up shirt on web-site means it's done. Phew! We have another midfielder.
I'd like one more midfielder, another CB and, if I'm greedy, another wide player. But this postion was priority number 1!
Well done CR - I have a feeling this guy will prove excellent signing and at an age to improve.
One more midfielder please to add to potential new centre back Benalouane
At last! I've seen some hilarious photo-shopped players holding up the shirt but this is the real deal - even down to the "I am ('ow you say) chuffed to bits to be 'ere" Gallic shrug
Interesting point re Beckford Foxy. I wonder whether he wakes up in the middle of the night thinking "if only...."
Yes, well done to CR.
Irrespective of whether this signing was identified during the Pearson era it’s still been completed under the new regime. The first signing by which we can measure Ranieri.
I always think it’s interesting to see how long players last after a change of manager – especially if we start to progress as a club. When Pearson replaced Sven it wasn’t long before we were left with only Nugent, Konchesky and Schmeichel. Now Ranieri is in we will see how many of Pearson’s players are retained and whether we move upwards or downwards. This will not only be a measure of Ranieri’s ability, but maybe also of Pearson’s legacy.
Well done washy and Ranieri, great signing. Don't expect fireworks this season as he will need to adapt but he looks a really exciting prospect.
Some better news on Inler as well. I've been chasing around twitter and linked in and his agent is meeting with Leicester today for talks with the club. This has been correlated by several sources in Italy including a well respected uk based Italian freelance who also writes for Sky.
It's still going to be very tough to land him, his preference is Fiorentina but the fact his agent has travelled to see us is better than where we were with Aranguiz which was a non starter.
Should Fiorentina not offer terms, then he could be considering us as a plan b as Napoli have told him to move on
To be fair Prawn, I don't think the club exists that Beckford thinks is worthy of his talents. If he ended up at Barcelona he'd probably think he was too good for them too...
Fox, a bit harsh, Beckford actually loved it at Leeds as his performances show. Very difficult when you've been signed by a prem club, get all excited about playing for England etc and then they don't pick you and sell you back into the championship against your wishes.
That doesn't excuse his performances but may explain his lack of motivation at times
Well done Rudkin as well!
Ps my source played a hand in this, seeing the player break off from his entourage and obviously heading to use the same WC, my source had the good manners to let him enter alone and wait until he came out, nice to know he is probably the first LCFC fan to
Know Kante was there but to speak to him as well.
For anyone who hasn't seen him before (like me), here's some of his highlights on youtube.
He's got a good touch and his passing is impressive and he looks like he's got a good turn of pace too. I look forward to seeing him in a City shirt.
