30 is pretty average, it can hit up 40 at the peak of summer in Baku
factor 50 on, don't want wee gms getting his beak burnt
worried about this fixture, the pitch, the heat.
those who say its the same for both sides, I highly doubt it, qarabag are used to playing on such surfaces surely?
the joys of 3 qualifying rounds, but we've had enough luck in Europe the last few years.

Oh misread 1am
Yeah 30 is pretty normal even at that time, you have to have an air conditioner if you live in Azerbaijan, the temperature gets out of hand every summer
I like your thinking ghod.

i always like to see 15 minutes of a game before i start getting carried away
the game against Starjnan conceding a goal was the best thing that couldve happened to us cause we looked content just to knock it about.
i reckon we'll go out and try and get an away goal early
we started a lot of european away games well last year
salzburg
legia
astra
maribor
No excuses aye. We had our home advantage last week. They have their's now. Elfsborg 2nd leg was played on a plastic pitch too.
Tough game tomorrow but I reckon not conceding an away goal will turn out to be crucial
Plus they Serbian dafties managed to get a draw a couple of weeks ago in Baku

The heat is not the same for both sides.
It takes up to two weeks to fully acclimatise to a country in order to perform to your maximum.
We need to play a clever game and let the ball do the work when we have it. This isn't a game for constant bursting runs from GMS, Forrest or Griffiths
dreading tomorrow
fearing the worst to be honest
the climate and atmosphere will all play a part in us looking like total amateurs for a good 20 mins or so

its not even like its been sunny here to remotely get us used to any kind of heat
it is what it is, but a what a horrible draw.
lets all chill out a bit, for a kick off if we cant knock this team out im glad we're not getting to the champions league.
BUT we're better than them, we need 1 goal you would think, lets all calm down
we've played in similar heat at this stage of the season before against better teams

I still maintain I seen nothing about them in the first leg to worry me that we wouldn't normally deal with.
It's whether we get complacent as we are prone to early in a match.

Me too if we win
they passed the ball very well but that wont work on a bumpy pitch, and they don't have the height to be a threat, though I think they brought a bit lad on at the end did they not.
like ghod says, if we cant win we don't deserve to be there.
