Abu Hamza is quite handy in goals
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Na he'd get hooked at half time
Never saw your game but by all reports Abu Hamza could have played in goals for you and they still wouldn't have scored, so i don't see a great threat
==========
thats what was funny about it , they showed up very well and kept the ball very well and it got the crowd a bit frustrated . But on reflection they werent very damaging with it but their approach will be different this time and they will try to be more adventurous with their passing .
Having seen how tidy they look on the ball its clear they are more than capable of cutting us open with their ability

surely playing away you need to try and get an away goal?
not always ghod, maybe if its the second leg aye but a lot of teams are happy to hold the ball and try and catch teams on the break.
going for it full pelt can get you in bother in the first leg, you want to get back to your own stadium with either a clean sheet or a good result.
know who would go for it?

CT The park sounds as if it's purpose built for long shots and you have a few who can do that. It'll be bobbling about like a bobbling thing.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
agreed , long shots and high awkward balls
for once i wouldnt mind seeing Commons starting tomo
id always encourage my team to go for an away goal, it gives the home team a headache
do they go for it and you catch them and score again?
even if we are 2 down in 10 minutes tomorrow we only need a goal

its a very thin line ghod, could work either way or could go diddies up either way.
we should be managers
The mentality has changed over the years, Even a 0-0 result at home is a decent result as you know your goal counts double in the return. 1-0 for us is a good result to take over there All we can ask for so far.
I think the reason everyone is getting a bit nervous is because these games are so important to us, no matter who we are playing.
Just seems like there's always a problem that pops up, now its the pitch that up until the day before the game has only been deemed playable, and the heat. Just need to get on with it though.
Im sure the players have been training at lennoxtown the past week indoors at a high intensity with the heating on
i'm nervous because we make really hard work of it.
i don't think we are good enough to get there is i'm being honest, its a bonus if we get there.
I wouldn't say we aren't good enough to get there Keny, all the teams we can face in qualifying are of similar quality and I bet most would rather avoid coming to Parkhead in qualifying. We maybe aren't good enough to compete in the actual group stages but we would be 4th seeds out of the 4 in the group and rightly so. Anything else after that is a bonus for us, and we all know it and you get the odd season, like Lennon's when we qualified for the last 16 were something magic can happen
ive had a look at the groups we could potentially get
we'd be lucky to finish with 1 win in the group stages
i think we had a better team under lennon as well tho rnr
not good enough isn't right, fair enough, but i think we are competing with teams we are on par with, we have downsized over the years.
I've watched our 2 home games in Europe this year, and county at the weekend and I've though "meh"
we need better mate.

We were very poor in the league that season and ended up with a poor points total too.
First game against Stjarnan was always going to be sloppy, away tie I thought we played well and playing away suited us. Qarabag home leg we ground out a crucial 1-0 win with no away goal conceded. County at home was comfy too but I agree, we looked a bit lackadaisical on Saturday.
I never expect anything from the CL, just desperate to get there, for a whole load of reasons

i don't expect it either mate, its such a huge bonus.
more money, potential to get in better players.
i want another venegoor, we paid about 3-4 million for him and we got our moneys worth.
that's what we need, a Venegoor of Hesselink
Ronny Deila would never have anyone like him in his team though
It was a good signing, proper got excited about it, then he scored on his debut the day after he signed and at Old trafford the following week
We also had Nakamura
he was a smashing big player.
anyone that played with him scored goals off him as well, McDonald and Kezman never done better.
that's what we need tho, someone of that quality.
