If Real take a 3-0 thumping tonight from Bayern, Spurs will finish runners up, the iceing on the cake, having already finished in the top four of the Audi Cup and qualified for next season's CL.

I know we've given the club stick for two friendlies just before the start of the season.

But giving the like of Onomah, Winks, McGee and Alli minutes in these two games is great for their experience.

I do sometimes wonder how they go about things in real life! They are ready to condemn the team even before the season starts.

We need to see how things go before we criticise, even losing to United at OT will not be a disater if we put up a good fight. I think it will be a draw, with both teams a bit cagey!

I feel asleep not long into the second half no but we seemed decent. Was well impressed with Trippier, at least KW has proper competition now. Let's not get carried away though, this Milan side came 10th in Serie A last season, and have lost an ageing Muntari and Essien this summer. All in all though, happy enough.
