I don't think Man City will even finish in the top 4 let alone win the league
We could dig deep and retain it but it ain't gonna be pretty.
Just can't see past Chelsea. Unless Jose completely implodes.
Refs and the FA like us now.
They'll gift us it
OP what are you talking about, stumbled over what?
Unfortunately you'll be OK and likely to win again but not with the margins of last year
Mourinho is still one of the best managers around. He doesn't go many seasons without a trophy. And he is a tactical genius. So he could still win the league albeit ugly
Everyone's buying the league

Passion, I know we won the league by 8 points but it honestly felt like we rode our luck in the 2nd half of the season. Lots of draws and wins by a 1 goal margin.
As you know, we get a goal advantage and then defend defend defend. Not convincing when your sphincter has better border control than Calais.
Let Jose take the Strain.
Not your Underpants
I hope we win 30 games 1-0 and lose six to the bottom three. Thatll really piiss the others off.
I believe it will be the closest league yet.
Really closer than city beating utd with the last kick of the season. Doubt it very much.
Vava1on1 I am not great at math, but 30 wins would be 90 points. Lose 6. Which leaves two more games.
Still leaves plenty of points for the others to win the league
To be honest I see us replicating last season. Win the PL at a canter, maybe one of the cups with the luck of the draw and underwhelming astonishingly in the CL. The only side that match our first XI on paper is Arsenal - which would be something to worry about if it was anybody but Arsenal
I get people's concerns about failing to evolve the squad, we didn't do that in 2010 and it bit us big time, but during that 10/11 season where it looked to be a level playing field as this season is shaping up to be - ultimately it was Ferguson's blatant superiority over his peers that made the difference in United pulling over the line. I see something very similar with the contenders this season only we have the alpha manager this time around.
Bar a major statement of intent from a rival before the window closes, I can't see part us this season. And to think I used to be proud pessimistic Chelsea fan, oh how I've sold my soul
Advocate we'll definitely be there or thereabouts with José in charge. That's a given when you have the best manager in the world.
Having said that much depends on Costa's fitness and if our fringe players like Cuad, Moses and Traore can step up to the mark when called upon as they could be like new signings.
This is completely different to what happened in the 10/11 season , the whole squad were at an age were they were only going to decline , this current squad is filled with players like hazard and oscar who is only going to get better with experience.
I know it's only 2 games in but still feel strongly that I am right about this. I think Jose is feeling the pressure and we are relying on our superstar, Hazard.
Willian, Oscar, Costa, Falcao, terry, Cahill, Ramires, have all been below par. The warnings were there last season (terry exception).
If we don't get a few good players in this window because of the stadium plans, I can understand. I would except that this season will be a non success if that was the case. But mourinho has to stop being a tool and a bully in blaming innocent staff members.
