The mirror reporting we are bidding for Austin and also that Poch is saying Soldado is part of his plans but he has a back injury.

Let's have a football forum where all views are aired.

That's what makes it interesting.

I agree and I am not passing judgement on other people's comments. People can write what they like.

I just think it's worth remembering that all is not doom and gloom with Spurs and we might just pull of a surprise victory on Saturday.

I've known Spurs to have "great" pre-seasons and then go on to achieve 2 points from 8 games!

I said on another thread that if you beat the Mancs then no one will be complaining about your preseason. I dont think its a given that having to play Midweek is detrimental to your chances this weekend. In fact, one could argue that it could be the other way round. May be less likely but not absurd.

Positive

posted on 6/8/15

I think Spurs will finish Top Four this season. I am just about the most positive poster on here, other than Sizzle. I will have my moan of course, but I think the young Spurs players are some of the most exciting youngsters playing for any club in the prem, if not the most exciting. Spurs are going places. There said it.

I am fed up with hearing about all the other teams, frankly I don`t give a toss about them, Spurs are my team, and the future is very, very bright at WHL.

I am certainly not expecting a defeat at Old Trafford, it may happen, but I am just as positive about getting a decent result, as a defeat. Hopefully the players are as well.

Fed up with listening to all the negative nonsense that has been spouted pre season, about lack of signings, etc. Who cares, there is so much talent already at Tottenham, they team will cope just fine.

The pundits are writing of Spurs, but usually pundits are so far off the mark and are like sheep, I mean 30 pundits picking for the BBC website, and all but one pick the same top four, talk about sitting on the fence. Baa.

1961 please, Spurs had a poor season in 1962, only finished 3rd, won the FA Cup and reached the semi-final of the European Cup.

I`m quite aware of what football is like in 2015 thank you very much. I also don`t keep going on about why a 25 man squad need wrapping in cotton wool all the time like you do. I think I am also a lot more positive about Spurs than you are. Thanks for the advice though, but best to sort out your own demons with Spurs first though.

It was not me that wrote an article suggesting that Spurs were stuck in Germany. FFS they are not coming home by horse and cart. Try to get with the 21st century, a two hour luxurious flight home, I think they can handle that. Bring yourself up to speed with modern travel mate.
