Blame 'em all, they're all in it together.
Apart from uncle Alisher.

that would mean the board have been outright lying to us for years now, and been taking advantage of Wenger's honourable nature by making claims about transfer money knowing he won't publicly contradict them.
Poor Arsene
I agree, Kroenke is a spineless little man, who Shud put his money where his mouth is, or we welcome back Dein. Along with Usamov
Sounds very plausible. It is odd if Wenger ends up kow towing to this _ Iam sure that there is plenty of support out there for him which may well embarrass any board members who are dealing dodgily, and not in the club's best interest.
Sad times.........................
"This seems to make sense on a basic level..."
-------------------
If it makes sense on a basic level, more often than not it's the truth.
As for the reasons why Kreonke hasn't yet or won't sell to Usmanov, there is a very worrying possiblity for all Gooners that Danny Fitzman sold his shares to him with some sort of "golden handcuffs" agreement in order to keep the shares from falling into the Usbeki's hands, thus keeping David Dein - with whom he'd fallen out - out of the Arsenal boardroom.
If that IS the case, then we might be stuck with the silent one with the syrup for at least another couple of seasons yet.
Wenger once said that if Usmanov bought the club then he would resign, presumably because of Usmanov's dubious practises and intentions for the club?
If that's the case then surely Wenger wouldn't just stand idly by and let Kroenke take money out of the club? Unless it's the case that he cares so much about Arsenal that he can't bring himself to leave us all in the lurch
The only reason that Wenger would resign if Usmanov came in, is if the Usbeki gave Arsene instructions on what sort of players he should be looking to sign.
Given that we do that every single day on here, we'd best not to be too judgemental on that front I'd say.
"golden handcuffs"
--------
Not sure if that could work? He also bought Bracewell-Smith's shares, who was well known to have fallen out with Fiszman and co. I doubt she would have imposed the same terms on the sale of her 16%
Not sure fella. It was a theory I saw discussed between some business types that seem to know what they were talking about.
Business is not my forte.
Whatever Stan's motives have been up to now, we'll have a much clearer indication of what we should expect for Arsenal's immediate future on Thurday morning.
At the moment I wouldn't be at all surprised if a sale to Usmanov proceeds before January.
Being that it would see the return to the club of David Dein, I'd be amazed if it saw Aresne leave - though I can see him going to PSG in January if things don't pick up at Arsenal soon.
I am not sure but isn't David Dein's son is an agent for Nasri and Fabregas who instigated the move away from Arsenal.
Darren Dein is now RVP's agent too.
The good news just keeps on coming eh?
I fear for Vermaelen too as Barcelona are trying to strengthen their defense.
Umanov.... A convicted rapist. Drug dealer, fraudster...Is this the kind of person we want at our club? What the hell is David Dein doing getting involved with this low life piece of dog pooh..... .Oh, i forgot that five letter word called money
i'd rather usmanov in charge then the yank kroenke, americans are two faced backstabbing corporate hungry dogs who only worry about themselves
Stan Kronke is not bad as you expect. Read this:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1375746/Stan-Kroenke-Profile-Arsenals-new-owner.html
I've read some good things about Kroenke, swissramble did a good piece on him shortly after the takeover. But this is the first "franchise" he has owned overseas and his intentions remain unclear. Nobody can confidently say whether he will treat Arsenal with the same care he has his other teams or whether Arsenal is nothing but collateral at best
Alot of talk in america is his first loves are his teams there then us, he also for some reason cannot afford to do things with the club st louis rams hence the speculation that he is going to sell up his stake in arsenal for a profit. The figures are reported he bought in at 12,500 or so a share an will sell for 15,000 a share!
Arsenal Fanboy
This is a rumour that I've heard too.
He wants to move them to LA and can only afford to do that once he's sold his stake in Arsenal.
That would help explain why he bought Bracewell-Smith's shares too.
He wants to move the St Louis Rams from Missouri to Los Angeles?

Well, there are various rumours about it out there.
Here's one:

Rams fans must be happy about that
