Refuse to believe it till I see it on Arsenal.com

Whether this is true or not is another question but how can you possibly source the metro?

Benzema himself asked Real Madrid to join Arsenal. The meeting of tomorrow is to agree the payment terms.

A typical metro type of headline, so dramatic but with no substance"

"Arsenal closing in on benzema
"Arsenal closing in on higuain"

There's no smoke without fire, Wenger is duping us so that not to hamper the deal.

Benzema will be an Arsenal player by September I think.

The same guy was right about Sanchez last year.

Cech is not enough and Wenger knows that he cannot challenge without a WC CF.

Benzema has asked for transfer, and Benitez has clearly spilled the beans for his quotes yesterday when asked about Benzema he stated that "hopefully" he stays.

There's no doubt about Arsenal's interest. I think it depends on Benzema himself rather than Madrid. If they're happy with the price that is. But still wary

Both managers have recently dismissed the rumour. Benzema has started regularly at R Madrid and I can't think of one reason R Madrid would want to sell him or why he would want to come to Arsenal. Besides, I foresee a frosty relationship with Giroud which may affect the dressing room. Can't see it happening.

Typical Liverpool fan, sorry but you should focus apon that mid table side that have yet again signed trash mediocre players, what a waste of money, 6th beckons again, 6-1 to Stoke and a mauling at the Emirates.

I still find it strange that Madrid would let him leave unless they have a star striker lined up. Which they may have. I have no idea if there's my solid rumours, don't think there is. But I didn't think Madrid fans will be happy if they let Benzema leave without a top replacement brought in.

So I think it comes down to if Madrid will bring in a top player or not.

They want to play Bale and Ronaldo up front, more like 4-4-2 sort of way.
But the way this is picking up looks all towards Benzema leaving. I'm trying to not get sucked into it, only when it's official will I get excited.

Yeah I get that they want to Put bale and rondaldo up top. But considering the nature of Madrid, and how they always like to get a big name every summer. It would seem odd they would let a big name player leave like Benzema, without another coming in. Regardless if bale and Ronaldo play up front.

Are there any reliable rumours that they're in for anyone?

Ozil would never go to Arsenal. Ozil goes to Arsenal. Sanchez would never go to Arsenal. Sanchez goes to Arsenal. Cech would never go to Arsenal. Cech goes to Arsenal.....To be continued....

according to rumors isnt it Benzema to Arsenal & with that money Real will buy Reus

Tbh it doesn't matter if both managers dismissed these rumours, wenger is a humble person when it comes to transfer secrets and a reason why most clubs love to deal with wenger. I really do think this deal is happening, arsenal tend to negotiate these deals for a long time which is why we have been hearing about it for a long time but the deals have come to an agreement now and only the announcement is left, which may take another week or even after their first pl match.

I actually wouldn't be surprised if this happens. Spanish media are full of reports of discontent at RM with Benitez's methods.
