Yep a good point all in all and a pleasing clean sheet. We'd likely have lost that game last season.
In fact, I can't even remember there being a single 0-0 draw last season?
If Bryson & Hughes are out for any length of time it'll be a blow, not disastrous but a blow and might signal an early switch to the 4-2-3-1 formation.
Plus dirty ba$tard Lennon had his team right up for it today.
yes, a disastorous blow
That diamond formation is a bit rubbish though, I prefer 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3
Sheff Wed, first away game last season was 0 0. Also that awful Millwall at home game.
Surprised he started with Bryson.
Baird and Thorne looked class. Shackell and Keogh looked safe until Heskey started to rough us up for about 10 minutes. Ince should have shot in injury time but played the pass insteadm chance of three points gone. Can't see that Weimann is an improvement on Russell or Ward for that matter. Martin still a bit off the pace but should be back to full fitness soon. Most worried about Will. Knee injury apparently, same for Bryson.
Apparently William did appear on the bench 2nd half in a protective boot but was walking unaided?
I injured my knee 5 weeks ago and walked 6 miles after I'd done it. I still couldn't go out hiking for 3 weeks and it has only just healed completely so I expect Will to be out 5 or 6 weeks.
I'd take 5-6 weeks, wouldn't you?
Will is not an OLD T\/\/AT so I expect his recovery to be 5-6 days.
Looks nasty, I'll definitely take 5-6 weeks.

Thanks Marco
There's no contact with a player. He just seems to catch his studs. Ouch! 😩
(BTW I can't use your acronym - it's a banned word 😦)
Read up on the internet rather than go to the doctors with my knee. I have little faith in the medical profession. Generally knee ligament damage takes 5 to 6 weeks to heal completely. If it doesn't heal after that time then the surgeon may be required.

Why didn't you try leaches ?
Ang, mainly because leaching is a process of removing soluble material contained within an insoluble solid. I wouldn't try leeches either as they were once popualr with the medical profession for balancing the humours. Most haven't progressed much since Galen.
Bollox. It's been a long day.
I have never done damage to my knees but I've done my ankles a couple of times. Webbing tape up the damaged ligament while it heals and carry on playing. I was back after the swelling reduced enough to get my foot in the boot. I week max.

Paul Clement suggesting that Will Hughes knee injury may not be as awful as it looked.
It did look very bad!
Spart couldn't talk more crap if he tried. Doesn't trust "the medical profession" (What? All of them?) so instead trusts any old stuff he can find on the Net. What a reliable source of information. Why trust the Internet? Who has written it?
"Knee ligaments" "Takes 5-6 weeks to heal"
It depends what has been damaged, and how badly. There are the collateral ligaments that stabilise at either side and the cruciate ligaments inside the joint. The good old ACL is the one we know because it is the commonest serious injury in footballers and when it snaps and needs repair it is close to a season out. There are also the menisci which are the sponge pads stopping the bones scraping together and these can also tear. Elsewhere in the knee you can get a bit of fluid in the joint or inflammation of the various muscle tendons etc. You can also just jar it a bit, painful but no serious damage.
Minor injuries can heal with a bit of rest, may be a couple of weeks, maybe more. It is usual to involve the medical profession and so Will will have a radiologist scrutinise his MRI and pronounce on what may have been damaged and how badly. An orthopaedic surgeon will advise if any specific intervention is required. If not then the MRI will allow the rehabilitation programme to give him the best chance of returning in as short a space of time as possible.
Until he's had his MRI we haven't a clue. We should know on Monday and it won't take Spart's 6 weeks to get the surgeon involved if it's required. Let's hope not.

NOT for ligament damage, trust me!
Put some deep heat on it then.
Can't you just walk it off?
It looks like both our clubs need a magic sponge.
FLT is fcking w4nk as well
Things have gone downhill already. No FLS! Hughes out for a lot of games! Bryson injured! Missed Forsyth! I'd like to say Shackell/Keogh partnership kept a clean sheet but it was the crossbar! No overlap capabilities! Ince?
Plus points? Thorne looked good. Maybe Warnock did OK but I prefer Forsyth. Good distribution reportedly from new keeper (always Grant's Achilles heel). A big quality squad to cover the injury mishaps.
