Only time will tell If Njie will be a success. Obviously cant be using Youtube as a guide but nothing particularly stands out there. Also going by reports Lyon were actually happy to let him go as they think we overpaid for him or perhaps that's sour grapes!!

I personally would have preferred at £12mill a proven EPL goalscorer or If not at least add more cash and get that experience. We are pushing this youth thing to the max..If the deal goes through, Our frontline would now consist of 2 relatively inexperienced boys. Am all for youth but a little experience and know-how within the team wouldn't come a miss. Perhaps Levy has a card up his sleeve as deadline day approaches.

Chaps there isn't many PL experienced young players who play on either wing or as a forward for12m. Charlie plays up top he will cost 15m but is very versatile, Berahino does but he isn't all that IMO and at 25m is crazy money.

Well for a start if that article is to be believed, we're not paying 12m, we're paying 10m. It'll only rise to 12 if he meets various performance criteria - which in itself would prove that he does meet that valuation.

10mil for an exciting, young, fast prospect who has proven he can score and create goals at a top level is not bad business...

Junction , I agree. If this is our only striker signing I won't be happy at all but I don't think It will be. I think we will def see someone else come in.
