west ham fans are a very rare breed, but there was one in my old office, and he was sensible, he admitted that west ham were nowhere near as big a club as spurs

that means that they are nowhere near as big as everton... I would put everton and spurs on a similar level. they edge us out on titles, but we have success in Europe on our side.
