Beware quotes from agents.
If United wanted him, he was for sale, and wanted to go, he would go to United. If United have not enquired about him then the agent is giving Spurs a nudge to let them know he is open to offers. If Spurs have enquired it is the pre-requisit to a good offer.
Sometimes the Spurs name is just for effect to push through deals.
This whole transfer window construct is driving me up the wall! So open to abuse and falsehoods!!
