So whose fault is it? Sakho has had plenty of opportunities and not stamped his authority on the place and BR sees him every day in training and had decided Lovren is deserving of the place.

Either you think BR is victimising Sakho (unlikely given the new offer) or the lack of starting berth is entirely Sakho's fault.

For the record, I like him as a player but he's not sparkled as yet.

Truth is salvo has been injured in spells, unfortunate but thats why he's lost his place imo.

Lovren hasn't earnt his chance through performances, Sakho performances have been on par or better than most of our defenders.

Basically if we fail this season it will be down to playing players like lallana lovren and Allen who all so far have proved inconsistent and in Lovrens case just damn right poor
