Why does their have to always be a "best" player? Human nature I guess to put someone at the tip of the pile.

Aguero is by far the best striker in the league, Man City could be getting hammered but give him the ball anywhere and he might score.

Aguero
Hazard
Sanchez
Silva

It's those 4 and then everyone else as far as attackers go right now. Rooney is up there with any of them on form, as is Yaya Toure. They're not performing anywhere like the first 4 are right now though.

The next bracket down has players like Rooney, Fabregasm, Toure, Carrick and Mata.

HA! Fabregasm! Great typo

Or, as with the last two weeks, he can have 7 great chances and only score one.

He is the best striker in the league, by a distance. Think he could still go up a level though.

Aguero

I'd say that at their peaks, it's Toure

Busby so we had 15 great chances against Newcastle and scored 0. Aguero had same amount of shots in first 30-35 minutes vs chelsea as man utd did on Saturday but difference he did a world class finish making the goal himself. Remember Aguero against Bayern Munich to win it 3-2 showed how he can single handedly win games. Last year at OT Aguero barely had a touch of the ball but managed to score 2 goals.

The best players in the world are all a cut above what the premier league has nowadays imo. They'd eat our league alive just like they do la liga.

I think it is old testimant to the the strength of the PL that the best players from La Liga like Pedro, Fabregas, Mata etc and Bundesliga Schweinsteiger, Kagawa, Hardgreaves etc all come to the PL where as La Liga never really attracts the top players from the PL. Barcelona and Real Madrid are just stepping stones for players to move to proper PL teams like Man Utd, Chelsea, Stoke and West Ham.

A bit silly to ask this question early in the season, why not wait to pass judgment towards the end of the season!

Based on last year performances Hazard is and deservedly so

Merlin for me, should of been Silva Sergio leading the attack a few years ago, instead of two upfront.

Without a doubt Raheem Sterling.

Aguero > Silva >>> Sanchez > Toure >>>>>>>>>>>>> Hazard

Must be a turn on knowing so much more than all those proplayers managers and journalists that voted for Hazard last season.
