1) Immediately lifted the whole squad. Led us to the top of the league and were #1 for 127 days.
2) Huge performance vs Everton in FA Cup QF in one of the biggest games in Arsenal's recent history.
3) Helped win our first major title in 9 years.
4) Won World Cup, making Arsenal the most successful PL club in World Cup history.
5) Consistent brilliance mid-Jan to mid-April this year and inspired us to a 9 game PL win-streak.
6) Put on a show in the FA Cup Final.
7) Masterclass vs Palace, made 54/55 passes.
Ozil is a good player, but he is no magian. Put him in a team full of good to great players and he'll excel. But he cannot make a team full of average players such as Giroud, Monreal and Ramsey - three players I actually quite like by the way - into a world beating unit.

Ozil should worry about how to make himself look good before worrying about others. interestingly we played the same team last game and Ozil was excellent, the fanboys didn't feel Giroud or our shape/tactics held him back then..? the guy can't even do the basics correctly half the time, embarrasing how many simple balls he lost yesterday.
The first one I will give you Liquidfanboy, he did give us a great lift because we were conned into thinking we got a special player.

Actually agree with op on some things re Santi. On form he is the best player we have in the middle hands down. However he can be very inconsistent. When he has a run of bad games he leaves us in big big trouble. He had a pretty bad game on monday, lost the ball a lot and provided no control from the centre. We needed energy and thrust rather than control so I believe this formation would have gave us a better chance

When Welbeck is fit we must start him upfront immediately as Giroud isnt quite cutting it at the moment. We miss Welbecks pace and hard work up top.
in the second half Santi was pretty pointless as was coquelin as we were playing the edge of the box stuff we always play when the crowd get into the game and the players wake up. Wenger has to be prepared to sub him more and he has to be more flexible with his substitution strategy. It doesnt always have to be 70 min ffs
