May as well stick with what we have.

you would honestly prefer to stick with an injured Welbeck as backup? Austin would offer more than him or Theo as a lone striker
I would rather save the money to be honest. He would cost 15 mil and is no better than what we have.
Rather go with Akpom.
Yes but you can't go with Akpom if he's on loan for a year...
I'd rather spend the money and finish higher up the table, have a chance at resting our better players for the cup competitions whilst still also putting out a team with a decent chance
Do you just want me to agree with you?
Hurray! convert number 1. Who's next?
I think the situation with our CBs shows you need over and with Welbeck out and Theo regularly injured I think it would be a reasonable idea to bring in Austin to challenge the statue for a starting place and I genuinely think he could take the first choice role.

He's not very good

whilst stats are not the be all and end all, if you see that last year with a poor team in a strong league he out-performed Cavani in a strong team in a weak league it does lead you to think he's actually pretty decent

be more constructive then!
Who out performed Cavani?
Take a look:

Seems on a par with Giroud, clearly behind Aguero, not much behind Benzema and ahead of Cavani
Think it says a lot that he's still a QPR player this late in the window despite his goals last season, he's not very good. Neither Liverpool or Spurs have bothered going for him even.
Decent player, I'd definitely take a gamble and bring him to Chelsea if Remy ends up leaving.
If he cost £15m+ like it has been touted, then no. Rather stick with what we have. If it was a few mil I'd take him as cover.
Oh, a load of pointless stats.
dont want him we can surely attract better than him anyway, last i heard he'll be signed for WBA when they sell Berahino
