Fellaini was awesome against United in the 10 role on the opening game of the season a few years back.
Ive seen liam miller be unplayable against us in one game. that really in the grand scheme of things means little.

Not really. For ages people thought adm wanted to stay at United and would be a success. I argued the opposite. I was right. People thought Fellaini was a useless signing. I argued the opposite. Now he's a good signing.
I'm not always right but sometimes you have to stand up and argue for what you believe in. Sometimes what I believe in is wrong but I stand by it. I'd love some examples of where I supposedly changed my stance on something I believed strongly in.
Fellaini is cack. I know he was expensive but you really should bite the bullet and sell him to a WBA/Stoke type team.

The only time I can recall him playing in the #9 role was at home to WBA which didn't go very well.
Happy to see him in the #10 role (preferably as a plan B) but I don't really see much benefit as a #9.
Even though Fellaini can be quite effective as an attacking threat, having spent all this money it is rather depressing that we have come to this. I know the primary goal is to win games but you'd hope we would do it with a bit of class.

Spot on imo. If Felly plays it has to be no.10. When he played as a no.9 I felt he just wasn't savvy enough in that role. His movement wasn't great and he seemed to be oblivious to the offside rule.
Normally I would say he should be used as a sub only in the no.10 role - i.e. if we need a late goal. I can see the logic in playing him from the start tonight though because he needs game time and Brugge couldn't handle him last week.
I think Robb is a bit sore at the moment that so many people have sussed him out.

That seems to be the case to me too. He's done far more embarassingly wrong predictions than correct ones.
The best thing is that he filters people, but we all know that he then logs out of his account, or probably has another browser open, so that he can read the post of those that he has filtered. It must eat him alive being sat there unable to respond to comments (like this one) about him.

Maybe that's true, maybe that isn't true; i'm not getting into it. However, you constantly contradict yourself and say the unpopular view in an effort to get comments. Some people are always going to have a problem with it.

It is my opinion, and you are welcome to disagree. However when the majority of posters say the same thing week in week out, then surely the pattern indicates it to be more than just one person's opinion?

Not really. For ages people thought adm wanted to stay at United and would be a success. I argued the opposite. I was right. People thought Fellaini was a useless signing. I argued the opposite. Now he's a good signing.
I'm not always right but sometimes you have to stand up and argue for what you believe in. Sometimes what I believe in is wrong but I stand by it. I'd love some examples of where I supposedly changed my stance on something I believed strongly in.

You're using the 'a stopped clock is right twice a day' argument. There's also a huge difference between having an opinion and standing up for it, and having an opinion because other people don't and you want 500 comments.
You won't admit to that being the reason, however in my (and most people on this board) opinion this is the case.

The only time I can recall him playing in the #9 role was at home to WBA which didn't go very well.
Happy to see him in the #10 role (preferably as a plan B) but I don't really see much benefit as a #9.
Even though Fellaini can be quite effective as an attacking threat, having spent all this money it is rather depressing that we have come to this. I know the primary goal is to win games but you'd hope we would do it with a bit of class.

Spot on imo. If Felly plays it has to be no.10. When he played as a no.9 I felt he just wasn't savvy enough in that role. His movement wasn't great and he seemed to be oblivious to the offside rule.
Normally I would say he should be used as a sub only in the no.10 role - i.e. if we need a late goal. I can see the logic in playing him from the start tonight though because he needs game time and Brugge couldn't handle him last week.

The best thing is that he filters people, but we all know that he then logs out of his account, or probably has another browser open, so that he can read the post of those that he has filtered. It must eat him alive being sat there unable to respond to comments (like this one) about him.

I explained to him why I had come around to the idea that he is a wum and he started with the insults with me too, questioning my intelligence etc. Then he filtered me.
