We were more exposed at centre half. I hope onouha is waiting in the wings for Cahill going and it is not just boyota.

Anybody else see this going wrong?
Just looked over at the highlights several times and we had 2 big problems in defence. Robbo and Knight. In about 3 of the Liverpool attacks Robbo was dead center of the box and had to run over which he shouldn't of had to do. One time he was actually shoulder to shoulder with Knight in the center!
The other obvious problem being Knight. He lost Skertl in the corner which they then scored from. He also didn't close down Adam nearly fast enough. He basically jogged over and he wasn't that far away. On top of this, he was caught flat footed for a few of their attacks.
In short, Boyata-Cahill in the center next time please. If Cahill goes, we need a replacement! Knight-Wheater would be scary. I can live with Wheats, but alongside Knight, no. I would like another LB, but I think Coyle is content with Robbo, also, I can't see him wanting to buy another until the Alonso situation is resolved.
In short, despite the really good quality of the rest of the team, the defence might be a problem this year.
Chuffed with N'gog, completes the front line for me. Not fussed with SWP, would like him at the club, but wouldn't cry if he didn't. Good window all in all.
I still have those nagging doubts like Vera, if SSN are to be believed.
I remember the David Dunne saga.
He arrived at the Reebok, contract papers ready to sign, name already printed on a shirt, only for his agent to get a call and wisk him off to Ewood to sign for B'burn!
Good news is that Sam Ricketts has started training.
Still need another winger if you ask me.
If Petrov gets injured, Eagles would have to go there and we would have to play a forward out of position in that spot.
Good move for the lad. Good luck
Let's hope he chooses bwfc for the football and not Blackburn for the money. Sorry story if he does, two clubs going in opposite directions.
Surely there is something else in the pipeline besides just sitting and being rejected by swp. I mean both swp and ngog deals were offered over a month ago. Alongside interest in boyoata which was also ages ago we have done nothing else. Has no one botheredjust sat and waited for swp. Are we that rigid in our transfer policy?

How do you know we aren't? we only know what the media/club tells us which probably barely scratches the surface in who we have tried to hire.....
Moses previous deadline days. Dead being the key word for Bolton.
Also sports journos know why are we any different that no one knows what we are doing but all other clubs go public. Plus when have we ever signed anyone that we did not guess before.
Eagles, Mears, shittu, Cahill, Steinsson, Knight and Muamba all happened without the fans Gavin any idea.
Sturridge only confirmed after he was seen at the reebok, before that it wasn't known.
Alot of the business is done silently, but we will only hear about 10% of what the club does, and that's the same for every team.
Please beat us to him. PLEASE.
We were exposed all over the park on saturday, but of all the defenders I'd say Robinson put in most of the effort. Knight is very limited and I fear what will happen if Cahill isn't there to cover for him.
