Read the headline and no more, thought, what the fk is the point and have to ask, what are we meant to do? Dumb down to suit your lack of investment and ambition? What did you do with the money we gave you?
Paid off the debt we accrued the last time we tried to keep up with the spending.

Fair enough. Do you have an answer for the question before that one?
A big deal was made of Malmos squad cost £5m, they are a good footballing team that lose players to bigger teams, what's stopping you or aberdeen or motherwell or inverness from at least trying to compete in europe?
Collins was slaughtered for telling the truth.

Whinge, moan with fk all self awareness.
The Dundee utd way
Malmo where quicker and cleverer than us and punished our mistakes.
Something Scottish clubs rarely do.
We canter our league curly
We flatter to deceive and are found out on the bigger stage. Malmo don't have a much more expensive team than the rest of the top Scottish teams so how can they do it but our other 'top' clubs can't.
Fergie did it, wee Jum did it....

We weren't talking about Ronny, we were talking about Collins being slaughtered for stating the bleeding obvious. Scottish clubs under perform because they accept they're 2nd rate, they're unfit and they is not one football thinker amongst them.
I find Ronnys roar cringey, I always have. He did what was required domestically, he HAS made us fitter and faster but I'm of the mind right now to go back to my original assessment that he's not a longterm Celtic manager.
All that doesn't excuse the rest, yourselves included that we're head and shoulders better

I'm under no illusion today where the fault lies.
But concentrating on our failings is a cop out for you and all the rest. We are miles better than anyone else in Scotland and miles behind the likes of Sweden.
The OP is suggesting that we shouldn't take joy in racking the flags, what utter nonsense, and you're deflecting away the failings too. Collins is speaking from a position of strength, he's happy enough to be number 2 at Celtic rather than pursuing his own managerial ambitions (for now) because he likes winning and is pilloried for daring to have an opinion that doesn't conform to the losers that have dragged our once decent football country into the mire

Where have I defended the team? I defended Collins and I stated we're miles better than everyone else.
Its easy to poke holes when you're an also-ran

We under perform partly because we don't get tested.
We only have ourselves to blame for accepting the fare we get every week
Its not too hard to see that

We accept the fact we're downsizing, no car park demo's. We accept the fact that Ronny was to be Lennons no2, we accept the fact that there is no challenge to our total superiority domestically
Pity that you and the rest don't accept that Collins was right. That its a given we win most of our games playing against the park the bus mentality...I don't include John Hughes though, he at least attempts to give it a go.

So we disagree, surprise surprise.
I wouldn't shed any tears if Ronny left, I don't think he will and I hope we show you how superior we are in one of the cups this year.
I'm not sure that it's what Collins said that p'd some people off.
More the fact that it was Collins, who seems to be a guy that you can easily take a dislike to, that said it.
There is no challenge to Celtic in Scotland particularly defensively so no easy task for the manager to gauge how good your defenders are.
Out of interest Hec - How do you rate VVD in Europe.
