We can still win this game

Least McGeady has been subbed, had an absolute shocker 1st half.

Twenty five minutes to go.

We are garbage.

My point is; We could go out and spend £15m on players for a couple of league positions or pay a dent manager half of that and do better

Deulofeu looked really good tonight. Great to see him running at players into the penalty area.

Roberto still says Stones is not for sale. Keep the faith.

Awful first half, deulofeu and Barkley made a huge difference when they came on (credit to Bobby for the change)

He's also stated Stones isn't for sale, we shall see...

Hold on OP.

Which manager??

Come on, offer up a solution to the man who gave you Evertons best ever PL points total.

The man who got us McCarthy, Gerard(tonight's MOTM) and Rom in. Now would they stay for the new man? The man who took Stones from the ressies to the England first team?

I also see his faith in our young talent, another on show tonight.....

So I ask, who?

Plus great to hear Roberto has stated he is not for sale

I hate to say it Arouna but that first goal from Barnsley looked well iffy. Did Stones think the keeper had the ball covered,or did he purposely let it go in?

I have no idea, not watched the replay:highlights as got back late and having a brew before bed.

But Martinez and woods have said in the last three days he is not for sale, he even made himself available tonight and didn't do a Raheem

Big Sam!!

If he could keep that West Ham squad in the league he could take us to the title

What's wrong with big Sam?

Nolan is free at the moment and we can see the return of percentage football at Goodison.

Especially as Coleman, Baines, McCarthy, Mirallas etc will want to leave once Martinez goes

Will they? Have they told you that?

You can't argue with our frequent defensive frailties though, we need better coaching in that area because it's all too easy for the good teams to shut us down in games and if we can't do the same to them it is a certain defeat. Not saying get shot of Bobby but he needs help in that area.

They all signed extensions while with Martinez as boss. Why stay when the reason you extended leaves. Plus they will all get snapped up when him/bill has us relegated this year.....or next...

Must admit I was very impressed with the display from the 2nd half onwards. Wish we would attack teams like that more often. I know it was only barnsley (no offence intended) but with the attacking players we have sometimes we need to be braver imo.

It was just Barnsely who ran out f legs tbh.

Besic and Cleverly were providing no protection and Pennington had a rough time. IF Besic could hold his position he would be a decent player. He needs to watch Barry more

Barnsley ran out of legs after 45 minutes?

That's my opinion. Barkley came on and he looked like a world beater and Gerry was skipping past three. You won't see that at Spurs.

The intensity of their opening play dropped away and the 3rdwas just naivety.

Out play 2nd half and et showed the team who had greater fitness and kept the ball better
